There are several ways and recipes for using flaxseeds in hair growth, including the following methods: 

Eating raw flaxseeds 

You can eat raw flaxseeds or put them in the diet because the daily need for it is two spoons, and a few can also place on fried vegetables or salads  To obtain its health benefits for the body and hair growth and health. 

Flaxseed oil for hair

by applying hair and scalp with flaxseed oil, as this method provides the hair and scalp with the nutrition necessary for healthy hair growth. using the following method:

  • Heat two tablespoons of flaxseed oil in a bowl until it becomes warm.
  • Massage the scalp with it for 15 minutes, after which the hair is wrapped with a hot towel for 30 minutes, and the towel can be heated with hot water or through a hair dryer.  
  • Wash hair with a sulfate-free shampoo.
  • This method uses 2-3 times a week.  

Flax Seed Gel 

The gel promotes hair growth as it does not accumulate on it, and is used by boiling a quarter cup of flax seeds with two cups of filtered water, then adding a tablespoon of lemon juice and stirring the mixture, and when the liquid turns into a gel we stop the heat from it, then leave it to cool, then keep it in a suitable container, and this gel is used every morning by massaging the scalp and hair with it. 

Flax oil to moisturize hair 

This mixture is very important for moisturizing hair and for treating dry hair. used according to the following method:  

  • Mix a small amount of flax oil, with a small amount of sunflower oil, and a teaspoon of glycerin together in a bowl, then add a quantity of lavender or sage oil to give a beautiful aroma to the mixture.
  • It is applied to the hair, and this recipe is used for several days, and the effective effect of the amino acids in this mixture will be observed on the hair.

Flaxseed remedies for tired hair 

This remedy is very good for tired and dry hair. used according to the following method:

  • Mash a grain of cucumber until it becomes a thick dough, then add to it a tablespoon of sour cream, preferably low-fat, and a teaspoon of flax oil, and mix the ingredients together.  
  • Apply this mask to the hair, leave it for 15 minutes, then wash it off with shampoo and water.
